I was having a bad leg day which means absolutely nothing to most people but for us amputees it means just that …..For details. Link:- www.heathermills.eu/forum/index.php?showtopic=5560&pid=73227&st=40&#entry73227Anyway the walk for today was a wander or hobble up to Milkhope in the Kidland forest. Just to have a look because I have never been in that particular area. And I knew that today I wouldn’t be going far. Looking up from the river Alwin. Just about to enter Kidland forest looking at Kitty Crags Walking along the forest track looking towards Inner Hill Starting the long climb up Dryhope Hill looking back down Still heading up. Looking back down the track Signs of harvesting (looks old) Still gaining height, views are starting to open up Milkhope, use to be a farm many years ago, now it is (or was) an outdoor centre Close up Views from the front “lawn” And again Looking across towards Kidlandlee On the track on the way down Still on my way down Still heading down Looking along the valley Back on the main forestry road by an old sheep stell Quick look back The Yoke Burn The Dodd Clennell Hill Something down on its luck (old sheep skull) The river Alwin & nearly back at the car. Bad day today but at least I got out and did something.& I can tick another area off my to go see list.& it go"s without saying that if i can do this on a bad day any one should be able to do it.
