Mooching around Harbottle Castle this-afternoon, the sun came out momentarily; I had been wending my way through a series of molehills, when looking down my eye caught something glinting through the top soil of what looked like a freshly made pile. On closer inspection, it looked to be round, about an inch in diameter, gold in colour, though somewhat tarnished. I bent down, picked it up - it was indeed a coin!
